The second part of the cruise is used
to discover the eolian archipelago : Vulcano,
Stromboli,
Lipari, Salina, Filiduci. Every night we will anchor or moor somewhere
or we will be in a harbour. So you will enjoy splendid treckings to the
vulcanos.
Boarding will be in the "Vieux Port" in Marseille, on sunday
night the 16th of May, disembarkation will be in Milazzo on friday
afternoon the 28th of May.
Cruise to the Eolian Islands (Sicily)
This cruise, from Marseille, will take you to the northern islands of Sicily : the Eolian Islands.
It is an ideal cruise for those who would like to enjoy short crossings, and also enjoy coastal sailing.
Depending on the weather and the wishings of the passengers, 2 ways are possible to sail to Sicily :
Sailing between Corsica and Sardinia : in this case, we will make a
stop in Bonifacio before continuing the crossing to the Eolians :
- from Marseille to Bonifacio, south of Corsica : 165 nautical miles (2 days and one night at sea)
- one night stop in Bonifacio
- from Bonifacio to Eolians (arriving in Lipari island) :300 nautical miles (3 days and 2 nights at sea)
Or sailing via North of Corsica and the west italian islands : in this
case, we probably will make a stop in Corsica (Calvi) and also in the
following islands : Capria, Elbe, Ponza and Capri
: this way is globally a bit longer but there is more possible
stops.
In all cases, crossings are short and easy.
